Joseph Jacob Hill – Chief Executive Officer
As a non-profit lender headquartered in the Chicagoland area, CSFD provides affordable lending and real estate consulting services to high-quality charter schools in underserved neighborhoods. Joseph leads a staff of highly dedicated and talented individuals, who are experts in development, facility finance, and market research.
With over 25 years of educational and managerial work experience in a multinational setting, Joseph provides a wealth of expertise in nonprofit planning and development. In addition to his leadership role as President of the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce Midwest in Chicago, Joseph has also championed nonprofit organizations in Uzbekistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Nigeria. Joseph holds a Masters in Economics and is fluent in English, Turkish, Uzbek and is conversational in some local African Hausa languages.
Kairat Mavlyankulov – Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Kairat is responsible for all aspects of organizational finance. He is highly skilled in structuring equity and debt components needed for school development projects. He is also responsible for investors‘ relationships.
Kairat has a degree in Finance and Economics from DePaul University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a member of the Future Institute Board- an organization focused on supporting urban youth succeed in college.
